EDAN FOSTER 2008 WORKS

Most of his paintings are around 3 feet by 4 feet and are what he calls, "urban street art and motel room abstractions." Edanss art begins not in the piece but in the mind and the eye. The real work is one of noticing and appreciating, seeing things clearly and differently than most other artists, and sharing that vision with others through his art. He has developed his vision and craft in a way where he brings the simple yet complex vision of emotion to light in a fresh way that can inspire and move people in a way they haven't been moved since the first time they saw graffiti or the first time they heard the Beatles. Edan continues his experimentation, concentrating primarily on 2-D paintins and new ways to transfer his expressions to canvas. Later this month he has a show at Sub-Q in Sacramento, CA, showcasing the breadth and beauty of his work, and its influence over the art world in the capitol city of California. Foster lives in Sacramento and continues to work, bringing his sense of excitement and challenge into a new year.
