Costume National grey

I LOVE grey! Costume National is really killing the game with their simple yet uber-chic line. Everything they have done, from 1986 up until now, has been above par. Marc Jacobs step your game up!

Alex M

Alexander Mcqueen is...The Man! Everything he's doing is fresh and youthful and brings design to the next level. In 1996 he succeeded John Galliano as head designer at Givenchy and became the youngest designer to win the british designer of the year award, which he won 2 more times. His boutique on west 14th street is the best boutique in New York, aside from the Philip Lim flagship store. The thing i love about A. Mcqueen is nobody else is on his shit. You dont walk down the street and see 50 kids wearing his shit like you do all this other crap. And there's never fakes of his clothes either. Thats always a plus. I love this man...No Homo.

Barbican Art Gallery

Wow! Dutch fashion designers Victor and Rolf Snoeren will be having an exhibit at the Barbican Art Gallery in September of 2008. Their first fashion show was during fashion week in London. It was an underground, unauthorized show in 1998 and they have become two of the central designers in dutch fashion. This is one of their first exhibits outside of Amsterdam and their first one in the UK. In 1993 they won the Festival d'Hyeres prize. Later, in 2006, they followed up the success of designers Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney in designing clothes for the guest designer spot for H&M.

Lanvin love

WHY is Lanvin the shit? Everything Lanivin did forever was World War 1-ish and she never brought about any new revolutionary trends until 1926 when she started making menswear. Now EVERYTHING Lanvin does is revolutionary and next-fucking-level. Lucas Ossendrijver is a god and everything Marc Jacob wants to be. No disrespect to Marc Jacobs, i think he's amazing and i love a lot of what he does but i JOCK Lanvin. All the menswear is so carefree and cool. It's perfection with shiney shoes on(a Lanvin signature)! Get with it!

Acne denim

The simplicity of Acnes jeans gives the most literal interpretation and i think thats why I love every pair of jeans they make. Every pair of jeans is simple and can be worn with anything. I need like 50 more pairs of these! For those of you that do not know, Acne stands for Ambition to Create Novel Expressions. It is a Stockholm-based brand that was started in 1997 for friends-only. Since it has become the leading Swedish denim brand and has showcased some of the best Scandinavian designers ever. Ahhhh...The new Acne store opened in So-Ho! FUCK YOU DIESEL!

Acne shoes

Ok, so I love Acne denim but check these shoes. The Swedish guys did something right here. I am not normally one for shoes made by a denim company but these are really classic looking. A step away from all the Supreme/Upper Playground-jocking fags who only wear Nike SBs. Step your game up!

Miu Miu Hobo

The woven pattern body and the double fringes on the side??? Miu Miu is the 'less-sophisticated/younger generation' version of Miuccia Prada but somehow is always 100% better. I swear I jock everything Miu Miu does...ladies get on it, guys go buy one for your lady

Barack Versace

You've gotta love Barack! He's, as Donatella put it, 'the man of the moment'. So much so that shes dedicated her entire summer/spring men's line to him. Watch the runway video on www.versace.com to see a some of the line. I can't say I'm the hugest fan of Versace but I always loved the quote from Giannai..."I like to dress egos, if you haven't got a big ego, you can forget it." Makes sense why Donatella would dedicate the newest line of menswear to a man like Barack.

Nike Sportswear

Nike finally started doing things for Nike Sportswear, a new line of crap by Nike. They launched the www.nikesportswear.com site, are planning to open the 5th floor at the Niketown NYC and dedicate it to new releases, and have opened an entire store in So-Ho in New York to the line. They have released some of the most desirable shoes there so far and plan on rereleasing a lot more. Back To the Future Hyperdunks, De La Soul AF 1s, etc. The NSW in So-Ho also has a by-appointment-only Nike ID studio. I have already been like 5 times and created 2 pairs of shoes. Here's a one thing they've dropped so far. Look for more info soon.
