Muji to Go’s opening at John F. Kennedy International Airport is coming soon, well, October 22nd to be exact. Being as I am flying to LA today I am little dissapointed it's not open sooner but...what are you gonna do? The Japanese retailer will be setting up a 596 square-foot shop in Jet Blue’s new terminal 5 and it will focus on providing small, travel sized goods coupled with a small apparel selection. Muji's Japanese minimalistic style is by far one of the nicest retailers out. I have SO much of their crap. I think this is an interesting development as Muji and Uniqlo locations have been placed conveniently at train stations and airports in Asia, so why not give it a whirl in the U.S. at an airport? Muji has a nice section in the MOMA(museum of modern art) Design Store in SoHo and the other location in NYC as well as a flagship store on Broadway in SoHo across from Uniqlo and H&M.
